Take the roar from the racetrack to the on-ramp. Born on the grueling Fuji International Speedway, the 2014 IS F is the fastest, most dominant sedan Lexus has ever built. A 5.0-liter V8 engine. 416 horsepower. 0-to-60 in 4.6 seconds. A track-tuned suspension. It’s just scratching the surface of a passion for performance that’s as deep as its racing pedigree.
When it comes to delivering heart-stopping performance, the proof is in simple numbers. 416 hp and 371 lb-ft of torque from the IS F’s 5.0-liter V8 engine help deliver a 0-to-60 time of just 4.6 seconds. It’s engineered to enhance high-rpm breathing, so while the driver gets a crunch of power down low, it also keeps building as revs rise, for a sense of unlimited acceleration that can’t be measured in numbers.
To satisfy their craving for hardcore performance, a small group of rogue engineers created the IS F between their regular assignments. But they weren’t satisfied with just creating a monster – that monster had to be legit. So they tested the IS F at some of the world’s most iconic racetracks, including the IS F’s home circuit, Fuji Speedway in Japan. By the time testing was complete, the result was not just a car these engineers wanted to make – it was a car these serious enthusiasts wanted to drive.
Every surface of the IS F was painstakingly crafted to meet the highest standards while also displaying an obsession with driving. Stylish dark aluminized composite trim is found on the IS F’s doors and center console.
Bolstered leather-trimmed sport seats help support assertive driving by helping keep you firmly in place through turns. In addition to the Red interior, there is also an available Red and Black interior with Alcantara® seat inserts for even more assured cornering. The front seats are heated and fully adjustable for optimal comfort and control.
